Marvel.com has an interview with Christopher Cantwell and some unlettered preview pages from Doctor Doom #1 here. Thanks to

Encouraging to see Cantwell namecheck a bunch of classic Doom stories like Triumph and Torment in there, though there's less hint whether we're going to see much in the way of direct follow-up to the Secret Wars/Infamous Iron Man arc. But the stuff he's saying about his take on Doom certainly sounds promising.

New Doctor Doom series coming in October

Marvel has announced a new Doctor Doom series at SDCC!
Thanks to
harveysdent for alerting me to this! I'm not a fan of Larroca and don't know anything about Cantwell, but all the same, I'm pretty excited to be getting another Doom-centric book. Hopefully this will actually build on everything that happened in Secret Wars and Infamous (and I wouldn't exactly complain if it ignored Slott's F4 as much as he ignored those). Exciting news when I wasn't expecting anything much to happen on the Doomy front until someone else took over F4.
Victor Von Doom has been a classic Marvel villain for decades -- but in this October's DOCTOR DOOM #1, the sinister Latverian finds himself at a crossroads. Announced at the retailer panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, DOCTOR DOOM is a new ongoing series by writer Christopher Cantwell (co-creator of AMC's Halt and Catch Fire) and artist Salvador Larroca that finds Doctor Doom in an interesting, conflicted position. After spending much of his time warning against a trillion-dollar global effort to create the first “artificial” black hole, Doom is now wrestling with visions of an entirely different life and a better future. But when a massive terrorist attack results in massive casualties, Doom is the prime suspect. What will happen when Doctor Doom is running from the law -- and himself?
