CBR has Marvel's solicts for October. Two possible Doom appearances for the month:

But the big news is that nine of Marvel's titles are ending in October in preparation for the Marvel NOW! relaunch in November. Both Fantastic Four and FF are on that list, and while the F4 will undoubtedly be getting a new #1 in some form, I'm slightly nervous that we're going to see the Future Foundation characters dropped.

I just hope the Richards kids don't go back to being ignored after Jonathan Hickman's gone. We need more of Valeria and her Uncle Doom.

CBR has Marvel's September solicits. After a disappointingly Doom-free August, September promises several guest appearances:

CBR has the lettered preview for Incredible Hulk #7. Looks like that's probably going to be pretty much the full extent of Doom's cameo, but who knows.

I haven't been following the Incredible Hulk series, but apparently Doom's made an appearance. Maybe this is a sign that Amanda Von Doom - allegedly 'no relation' - is going to turn out to be connected to our Doom after all?

This turned out to be a sadly Doom-free week, so, a bit of a roundup post in place of proper reviews.

FF #11

This issue temporarily leaves the Doctor Doom plot to focus on what's going on elsewhere. But he should definitely be back from issue #12 onwards, because that kicks off the long-promised "All hope lies in Doom" plot. In the meantime, everything else is coming to a head:

Spoiler summary )

Amanda Von Doom

The new character of Amanda Von Doom debuted in Incredible Hulk #1 this week, although, bizarrely, it seems that she shares no connection with 'our' Doom.

It remains to be seen whether there's a further twist coming in this character's origin or the whole thing was just a rather weird attention grab.

November Comics

Victor Von Doom #1 has apparently been delayed, so it's now coming out on the 23rd of November. ...Which is the same date as both Avengers: Children's Crusade #8 and Fantastic Four #600. That's going to be an epic week.

December Covers

CBR has a pair of connecting variant covers for Fantastic Four #601 and FF #13, which feature Doom charging into battle alongside all the book's other heroes.

So, following on the heels of the solicit for December's Incredible Hulk #3 that mentions a mysterious "Amanda Von Doom", CBR now has the lettered preview for issue #1, which features an armour-wearing figure referred to as 'Commander Doom'. I have no idea what's going on with this character or what the relationship to our Doom might be, but still, intriguing.
