I'm kind of fascinated by that little moment, I must admit, since while he's shown his respect towards Reed or Sue at times, or even Johnny at his funeral, he's never liked Ben at all, and would usually have been first in line to poke him in that sore spot by calling him a monster in his supervillain days. So I'm pretty intrigued by the fact that he seemed to go out of his way to say "let that man go" when, y'know, "let him go" would have been a more natural way to say it.
