Ultimate FF to end with issue #6

doomfansAccording to CBR, Ultimate FF is due to be cancelled after issue #6, most likely down to poor sales.
Damn, that's a real bummer - I liked the writing and was really eager to see where Fialkov was going with Doom's return, but I doubt he's got the time left to resolve much of anything now. I feel like the terrible choice of artists really strangled this book's chances - it was always going to be hard for a new Ultimate verse book to get sales, and with that kind of very acquired-taste art it really didn't have a hope.
Oh, well, I guess at least that solves my problem of whether I can afford to start picking up Agent of Asgard. Sigh.

Sad to say that UFF is finished with issue 6, and due to my illness last month, my last issue is 5. Heartbroken but extremely grateful.
Which gives us even less chance of a proper resolution. A real shame. :(
